Where Wounds Become Wings with a brown girl therapist

Welcome to Therapy Cocoon

with Anuja Khadka, LCSW, CCTP

Trauma-informed culturally affirming virtual therapy in Florida. Proudly supporting and affirming individuals from all walks of life- including BIPOC communities, immigrants, and mothers

Hi, I’m a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional who helps adults-especially women of color, first-generation immigrants, and cycle-breakers-heal from childhood wounds, anxiety, and unhelpful emotional and relational patterns.

Through culturally affirming, trauma-informed approaches (including inner child work, somatic therapy, and mindfulness), I support clients in reconnecting with themselves, building self-worth, and breaking generational cycles.

Therapy Cocoon offers a compassionate space for reflection, healing, and transformation-so you can release what no longer serves you and step into a more authentic version of yourself.n.

🌱 You’re ready. Ready to release what no longer serves you. Ready to rewrite your story. Ready to become the version of yourself you’ve been longing to meet.

If your heart whispers “yes,” let’s begin.

Are you exhausted from feeling like this?

✔️You find yourself constantly seeking external validation and approval, feeling like you’re never quite “good enough” on your own.

✔️ You struggle with setting healthy boundaries, often prioritizing the needs of others at the expense of your own well-being.

✔️ You experience intense emotional reactions to situations that might seem small to others, reflecting deep-seated feelings of abandonment or neglect.

✔️ You have a persistent inner critic that constantly judges and belittles you, echoing negative messages from the past.

✔️ You find it difficult to trust others or form deep, secure connections, fearing rejection or abandonment.

✔️ You may engage in self-sabotaging behaviors, unconsciously recreating familiar patterns of pain or disappointment.

✔️ You carry a deep sense of shame or guilt that doesn’t quite fit the present situation.

If these experiences resonate with you, it could be a sign that the unmet needs of your inner child are still seeking attention and healing. At Therapy Cocoon, I can help you understand these patterns, connect with your inner child’s experiences, and learn to provide the nurturing and compassion you may have longed for. Let’s embark on a journey of healing and self-acceptance together.
